From 2007, The International Network for Traditional Building, Architecture & Urbanism is directed by its College of Chapters. Each INTBAU Chapter has one representative in the College and one vote. The INTBAU College of Chapters replaced the Management Committee which was initially formed of 14 members, some of whom continue to serve in the College of Chapters in an advisory capacity. The foundation of the INTBAU College of Chapters is the result of the rapid expansion of INTBAU over the last few years and the growing number of projects initiated by the national chapters. In 2005 INTBAU India and INTBAU Germany were founded. In 2006, two more chapters were set up in Scandinavia and Nigeria. In 2007, INTBAU Romania, INTBAU USA, INTBAU Canada and INTBAU Iran were legally established. INTBAU Russia and INTBAU Australia are now in formation. The Chair of the INTBAU College of Chapters is Robert Adam. The INTBAU College of Chapters meets regularly at least once a year and decides the future projects of the charity. The 2007 annual meeting of the INTBAU College of Chapters took place on 26 September 2007 in Sibiu - Transylvania - Romania.
