In 2023, La Table Ronde de l’Architecture (TRA), host to INTBAU Belgium, is running its third summer school for the next generation practitioners of traditional architecture, urbanism and the traditional building crafts from 2 July to 20 August.
The summer school offers a unique learning opportunity for students (16+) and professionals (25+) wishing to learn about beautiful, durable and sustainable archictecture. Participants will stay in Bellem Castle, and can choose modules in Gothic architecture and craft skills in addition to the four week core curriculum.
In the core curriculum, attendees can expect an introduction to the art of drawing, the rules of composition, lectures on the history of classical architecture, embellishment, site visits and more.
The deadline for applications is 30 April, and the early deadline to apply for a scholarship is 31 March.
