The Traditional Architecture Group, host to INTBAU UK, organised the webinar ‘Traditional Architecture Summer Schools – An Open Table Discussion on Traditional Architecture & Urban Design Summer Schools,’ featuring some of the most outstanding summer programmes from our network and beyond.
In today’s educational landscape, traditional design and crafts are often overlooked. A number of summer schools have emerged across Europe and other regions to offer a much-needed alternative to mainstream contemporary education.
This year, INTBAU is pleased to continue offering summer schools in traditional architecture, urbanism and building crafts across various countries, including Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Australia. Additionally, we’re excited to announce the remarkable establishment of two new programmes in Mexico and France.
Watch the recording of the event to join the founders of programmes from our network and beyond, the TAG Chair, and the Chair of INTBAU’s Education Committee for a discussion around the schools’ aims, achievements and challenges in becoming a refreshing opportunity for architecture education. Get a taste of what these summer schools offer and discover if embarking on this educational adventure is for you, too!
