INTBAU is offering a limited number of volunteer bursaries for students and recent graduates to attend and support the INTBAU World Congress in October 2025. In return for their support before and during the event, selected volunteers will be offered up to £1,500 towards the cost of travel, accommodation, visas, and insurance.
This is a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience with an international event, develop your professional skills, and connect with a global network of like-minded peers and professionals.
I. Who can apply
This opportunity is open to students and recent graduates from relevant disciplines from any country. Priority will be given to those who have attended an INTBAU education programme in the past.
II. Key responsibilities
Before the event:
- Supporting the communications team with outreach and social media.
- Assisting with administrative tasks and event promotion.
- One volunteer will start earlier (May or June), supporting audience engagement and collating social media content.
- Other tasks to be defined with the event team.
During the event:
- Supporting the flow of participants and logistics on the ground.
- Taking notes during sessions to produce useful recaps and summaries.
- Taking photos (volunteers with their own camera preferred).
- Assisting with other tasks assigned by the event team.
After the event:
- Deliver recaps, summaries and photographs of the event and sessions.
III. What we offer
- Free attendance at the INTBAU World Congress 2025.
- Up to £1,500 for reimbursement of travel arrangements, such as transportation, accommodation, visa and insurance.
- A support letter for visa applications.
IV. Selection process and timeline
All submitted applications will be reviewed by the International Secretariat after the application deadline. The application deadline is 7 May, with results announced by the end of May.
