INTBAU Italy is delighted to announce its involvement in the Mediterranean Design Association’s 2014 Summer School.
Focus: Colour, Environment and Project.
Object: Open air project laboratory for Cultural Heritage use.
The thematic seminars and lab activities aim at actions on Environmental Design for the territory based on real infrastructural needs, focused on the definition of services and systems for the use of the locations and their material and immaterial importance. Internationally famous persons will intervene to stimulate and discuss the needs, importance and contents through lectures and activities in de Valley of the Temples.
The Summer School is open for Italian and international students, professionals, doctoral candidates and researchers.
The course offers the opportunity of a complete experience from concept to design project.
The week will be based on lectures and lab activities spread throughout the territory of the Valley of the Temples, UNESCO World Heritage. Visits to surrounding places and stimulating encounters on sea far from the Mediterranean shore are part of the program. With a strong intention not to differentiate the study locations from the locations where the interventions will take place.

The main part of the hours is dedicated to a creative laboratory.
MDA will present a certificate for the successful completion of the course.
The laboratory will be held in English and in Italian.
