INTBAU Mexico was established on 25 January 2023. The Chapter objectives are to:
– Promote classical architecture in academic and professional circles in México.
– Support Mexican practitioners of traditional building crafts in country.
– Connect Mexican members to the INTBAU network, sharing details of international initiatives and projects overseas.
– Contribute to the creation of urban plans and designs that promote walkability, mixed land use, a strong sense of local character and beautiful spaces.
– Revalidar la arquitectura clásica tanto en lo académico como en lo profesional en México.
– Promocionar los diversos oficios de construcción de maestros artesanos mexicanos.
– Dar a conocer las diversas iniciativas y proyectos internacionales de arquitectura y urbanismo tradicionales.
– Contribuir a la realización de diseños y planes urbanos promoviendo espacios peatonales prioritarios, pueblos y ciudades policéntricas, usos mixtos de suelo, identidad definida y embellecimiento de espacios.
