The Portuguese Chapter of INTBAU is a non-profitable organization which seeks to promote the values of traditional building, architecture and urbanism in Portugal in their different ways, places and forms of expression.
Established in 2014, INTBAU Portugal’s aim is to develop a network of professionals sympathetic to these purposes, through the organization of, among others, conferences, courses, scientific research and workshops, as well as having an active presence in social and economic issues related to heritage and urban quality.
In 2016 INTBAU Portugal has gathered more than 50 members from different areas, such as architecture, engineering, history, conservation and urban planning. These individuals focus on the development of sustainable solutions and the preservation of cultural identities all over the country.
In 2019, INTBAU Portugal has gathered almost 100 members.
