Held in English
Join INTBAU Poland for an international conference exploring how cities can adopt more holistic, sustainable approaches to urban transformation. Hosted by the Soft City network and organised in collaboration with the University of the West of Scotland and the University of Gdańsk, this event will bring together experts in placemaking, ecology, and the arts.
This conference is open to academics, students, artists, urban planners, designers, architects, social geographers, and cultural planners—anyone interested in shaping the future of cities.
Cities are evolving rapidly, facing challenges from climate change, extractive capitalism, and digital disruption. This conference will examine how tradition, nature, art, and community can come together to create more sustainable and connected urban environments.
What’s next?
🔹 The ideas discussed in March will shape a public charrette on 26 April, where specific solutions will be proposed for the post-shipyard area.
Join us as we explore new ways to reimagine urban life, placing nature and community at its heart.
